On Being A Teacher

I hope I was able to inspire them to go beyond what they think they could do or be. I hope that beyond the lectures, they learned meaningful life lessons. Two years of teaching children has been fulfilling. Seeing the students learn, improve and grow makes me feel that I am doing what I have to do and that I am a significant part of somebody else's life. I am grateful for the opportunity to be an educator. I am not an education graduate. I never had any education units back in college but my passion is in teaching. I am not perfect. I do not know everything. But I am more than glad and willing to share the little bits about life and other stuff that I know to others. As I teach, I also learn. The horizon widens and I realize that in teaching I do not only share and give
