A special (and late) birthday post for my pastor who has always been loving and supporting me. Since we both love singing *wink*, I put the lyrics of the songs which helped me create this post. Sing along na! :)))

Your smile is warming (and charming). Your smile is like a ray of sunshine; it can illuminate a dark world. Your smile is infectious. People can not help but smile when they see you smile. Your smile brings encouragement. Your smile is not just a smile. Your smile touches people's hearts. Your smile is an expression of your love. How can anyone find it hard to love someone with this smile?

 No one cannot deny your passion for the Lord. At a young age, you gave your life for Him. You gave your life to serve Him. You could have spent your time working for companies that will surely give you a great career yet you chose to be engaged in the business of God, in the business of fishing people. What an encouragement your life is to many young people like me. May the fire and passion for the Lord continue to be ablaze in your heart.

*cough cough* To whom should this song be sung to? I wonder, I wonder. But whoever he is, he is blessed! You are a beautiful woman inside and out. What you have is true beauty - beauty that is coming from within and  is radiating. I hope the right man soon find this beauty. And I hope you find his beauty too. :)

As part of Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary's vision to bridge cultures for Christ, the school sent four mission teams led by students during last year's Christmas break. One of which is a sports mission team. Last December 20, 2013, a group of people (students, professors, children) from the seminary visited the Angono Football Club to minister to its football players. (I guess, having people from other countries really creates excitement for Filipinos.) We had games and some football matches. ANSWERED PRAYER

"I am a God of faith and I'm going to honor your faith." "I'm going to do it swiftly in my time." - This is part of the prophetic word I received this year. One month has passed since the Lord answered my prayer.  I'm writing here in (insert country here) as a proof that God is truly a God of faith.   Five years ago, I stood up in church, claiming God's heart for me to serve Him as a world missionary. I had a chance to be part of a short term mission trip three years ago. But my desire to serve Him globally has not quenched even after a few years of serving Him in my hometown. I knew I had to step out in faith and do something so I can fulfill His plans for my life. I attempted to work in Singapore to become a tentmaker last year but to no avail. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Words are very powerful. If there is something that can gash a heart more than a sword, those would be the words from anyone whom we allow to hurt us. It hurts even more when the words come from our own mouth. Lately, I found myself asking questions that eventually keep me down. "Am I fat?" "Why am I alone again?" "Why do I look ugly?" "Why am I so foolish?" "When will I learn?" "Will I ever get _______(fill in the blank with something I want or need)? And then I would impulsively reply negative answers to my own questions. It went on and on until I finally realized that telling myself negative things about me isn't making me any wise. It makes me feel disappointed. It makes me feel down. It makes me feel hopeless. These questions are fatal. It will lead to nowhere but misery and despair. These are the questions everyone should avoid as long as the only answers we can give ourselves are the negative ones. B
