The Name of JESUS


JESUS is not just a scripture. And He's definitely not just a relic.

JESUS, who is God, went down to the earth and saved mankind from all sins.

 JESUS is a friend. 

JESUS is someone you can rely on when you're weary.

JESUS heals.

JESUS makes miracles.

JESUS loves his brothers, mothers, sisters and friends.

JESUS never rejects sinners who come to Him.
He even comes to them.
He knocks at each person's heart.

For us to love God and to love people.
To follow Him the way he lived here on earth.
To put our Faith in Him, the only begotten Son.
To enjoy the riches and glory that the Father gives through Him.
That's what JESUS wants.

And though we are not worthy,  JESUS  still loves us truly.



A lot of people overlook this Name.
A lot of people take this Name for granted.
But this Name makes our hearts beat each and everyday.
And so...

This Name, I breathe.
This Name, I lift up high.
I do my very best for His will to be fulfilled in my life.
He's the driver of my life.
And as long as I know this fact...
As long as JESUS reigns in me...
I know I will have the best trip of my life!

And here I am making the next steps.
I'm gonna tell the world about His name.
Gonna share His love that abounds in me.
Nothing is going to stop me
For I know JESUS is with me!

As part of Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary's vision to bridge cultures for Christ, the school sent four mission teams led by students during last year's Christmas break. One of which is a sports mission team. Last December 20, 2013, a group of people (students, professors, children) from the seminary visited the Angono Football Club to minister to its football players. ANSWERED PRAYER

"I am a God of faith and I'm going to honor your faith." "I'm going to do it swiftly in my time." - This is part of the prophetic word I received this year. One month has passed since the Lord answered my prayer.  I'm writing here in (insert country here) as a proof that God is truly a God of faith.   Five years ago, I stood up in church, claiming God's heart for me to serve Him as a world missionary. I had a chance to be part of a short term mission trip three years ago. But my desire to serve Him globally has not quenched even after a few years of serving Him in my hometown. I knew I had to step out in faith and do something so I can fulfill His plans for my life. I attempted to work in Singapore to become a tentmaker last year but to no avail. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Words are very powerful. If there is something that can gash a heart more than a sword, those would be the words from anyone whom we allow to hurt us. It hurts even more when the words come from our own mouth. Lately, I found myself asking questions that eventually keep me down. "Am I fat?" "Why am I alone again?" "Why do I look ugly?" "Why am I so foolish?" "When will I learn?" "Will I ever get _______(fill in the blank with something I want or need)? And then I would impulsively reply negative answers to my own questions. It went on and on until I finally realized that telling myself negative things about me isn't making me any wise. It makes me feel disappointed. It makes me feel down. It makes me feel hopeless. These questions are fatal. It will lead to nowhere but misery and despair. These are the questions everyone should avoid as long as the only answers we can give ourselves are the negative ones. B
