I am more than a conqueror!


I was down, tired and weary
All the weight of the world burdened me
I couldn't get up, my knees were weak
Couldn't even shout or speak

Stones of pressures thrown at me
High-rise expectations set before me
Mountains of tasks laid in front
Tears of exhaustion flowed endlessly

I wanted to quit, that is for sure
I wanted to leave, never to stay anymore
But then I heard Your voice calling me
How can turn away from Thee?

Your love has always been my comfort
Your hands has always been my guide
Your embrace restores my soul
Your Word brings encouragement

Never can I deny Your unfailing love
I swim in Your abounding grace
How can I feel so defeated
When you, my God, holds the victory?

You are my shield against the stones
You lift me up to reach excellence
You move the mountains to pave the way
Tears of joy flow endlessly!

I am a child and God is my Father
I am a sheep and God is my Shepherd
I am a soldier and God is my commander
Through God, I AM MORE THAN A CONQUEROR!


Romans 8:37-39 says:


37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future,nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

     We are more than conquerors. We are made to be victors. No matter what life throws at you, do not let go of the faith God has given you. Never let persecution put the fire out. Never let your love for God fade away. Never let go for a crown is waiting in heaven.

As part of Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary's vision to bridge cultures for Christ, the school sent four mission teams led by students during last year's Christmas break. One of which is a sports mission team. Last December 20, 2013, a group of people (students, professors, children) from the seminary visited the Angono Football Club to minister to its football players. ANSWERED PRAYER

"I am a God of faith and I'm going to honor your faith." "I'm going to do it swiftly in my time." - This is part of the prophetic word I received this year. One month has passed since the Lord answered my prayer.  I'm writing here in (insert country here) as a proof that God is truly a God of faith.   Five years ago, I stood up in church, claiming God's heart for me to serve Him as a world missionary. I had a chance to be part of a short term mission trip three years ago. But my desire to serve Him globally has not quenched even after a few years of serving Him in my hometown. I knew I had to step out in faith and do something so I can fulfill His plans for my life. I attempted to work in Singapore to become a tentmaker last year but to no avail. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Words are very powerful. If there is something that can gash a heart more than a sword, those would be the words from anyone whom we allow to hurt us. It hurts even more when the words come from our own mouth. Lately, I found myself asking questions that eventually keep me down. "Am I fat?" "Why am I alone again?" "Why do I look ugly?" "Why am I so foolish?" "When will I learn?" "Will I ever get _______(fill in the blank with something I want or need)? And then I would impulsively reply negative answers to my own questions. It went on and on until I finally realized that telling myself negative things about me isn't making me any wise. It makes me feel disappointed. It makes me feel down. It makes me feel hopeless. These questions are fatal. It will lead to nowhere but misery and despair. These are the questions everyone should avoid as long as the only answers we can give ourselves are the negative ones. B
