Marley Helen

Psalm 118:24 
"This is the day the Lord has made; 
let us rejoice and be glad in it."



 April 8... the day Marley was born. :) I cannot imagine how time flies by so quickly. She was just a picture on the ultrasound 5 months ago. And now she's there, across the window, with her little fingers and her pink cheeks. The Lord has been truly gracious to Ate Manessa, Kuya Dennis and their newborn baby. Ate Manessa had been through a lot of stress and trials to make it to this point. She fought real hard and the Lord has granted her favor, protection and blessing. I write not just to record the joy that this baby has brought to our family but I also write for the purpose of dedication Marley Helen's life unto the Lord Jesus Christ. 


May our Lord guide her parents in raising her. 
May our Lord protect her wherever she goes. 
May she be a blessing to thousands of people she'll meet and 
may she find the love of God that is in Christ alone. 


This is the day that the Lord has made. We will all rejoice and be glad in it!

    Joy is something people should cherish , one should rejoice in all circumstances and always see the brighter side of things rather than being negative

As part of Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary's vision to bridge cultures for Christ, the school sent four mission teams led by students during last year's Christmas break. One of which is a sports mission team. Last December 20, 2013, a group of people (students, professors, children) from the seminary visited the Angono Football Club to minister to its football players. ANSWERED PRAYER

"I am a God of faith and I'm going to honor your faith." "I'm going to do it swiftly in my time." - This is part of the prophetic word I received this year. One month has passed since the Lord answered my prayer.  I'm writing here in (insert country here) as a proof that God is truly a God of faith.   Five years ago, I stood up in church, claiming God's heart for me to serve Him as a world missionary. I had a chance to be part of a short term mission trip three years ago. But my desire to serve Him globally has not quenched even after a few years of serving Him in my hometown. I knew I had to step out in faith and do something so I can fulfill His plans for my life. I attempted to work in Singapore to become a tentmaker last year but to no avail. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Words are very powerful. If there is something that can gash a heart more than a sword, those would be the words from anyone whom we allow to hurt us. It hurts even more when the words come from our own mouth. Lately, I found myself asking questions that eventually keep me down. "Am I fat?" "Why am I alone again?" "Why do I look ugly?" "Why am I so foolish?" "When will I learn?" "Will I ever get _______(fill in the blank with something I want or need)? And then I would impulsively reply negative answers to my own questions. It went on and on until I finally realized that telling myself negative things about me isn't making me any wise. It makes me feel disappointed. It makes me feel down. It makes me feel hopeless. These questions are fatal. It will lead to nowhere but misery and despair. These are the questions everyone should avoid as long as the only answers we can give ourselves are the negative ones. B
